Wedding in Portugal in Boho Chic style

Looking for a meaningful, peaceful and well-thought ceremony, the young and upbeat Russian couple, Kate & Andrew, approached StudioVictorias for designing their elopement in Portugal.

A couple of years ago they attended a friends Destination Wedding in Cascais and immediately fell in love with Portugal. Right then, they felt the unique cosmopolitan vibe of the cultural melting pot of this country undeniably marked by its openness to its sea-shore borders — European by essence with pinches of African, Asian and South American cultures.

Based on that first impression they opted for a beach celebration overlooking the ocean, symbolizing that openness for their lifetime commitment.

The place chosen for the ceremony was the idyllic setting of Praia do Guincho where the delicate pure white long extension of sand gets along superbly with its intense signature waves.

That symbiosis worked wonderfully as a metaphor to the sensitive balance challenging every relationship, posing as the good omen on this wedding.

On a cozy, uncomplicated love nook, created with a careful selection of decorative pieces matching Boho Chic inspiration, the couple took time to appreciate the moment, playback their romantic reminiscences and make new oaths of devotion.

Someone once said that to be happy one needs only love and a hut, and Kate&Andrew's elopement is a real illustration of that carefree lifestyle. It really doesn't take more than a couple's affection to create significant and notable celebrations.
